2. Collect Evidence!
Take photographs of your injuries and the defective product. Note the date, time, and location of the incident. Document the make and model of the product and write down the serial number of the merchandise.

3. Witnesses?
Gather information from anyone who witnessed the incident, including their names, addresses, and telephone numbers. Write down any statements made to you by witnesses.

4. Seek Immediate Medical Attention
Call an ambulance if the injuries are serious. If an ambulance is not necessary, go to the hospital emergency room or urgent care. Make sure to follow your doctor’s orders.

5. Keep the Product
Store the product and all packaging labels, receipts, etc. in a safe place. Immediately discontinue use of the product.
